Years ago I bought 4 cases (20,000 rds) for $92.00 a case at the south store.......Standard velocity Remington ball........Shoots good in my guns.

I shot deer with buckshot ahead of hounds for 40 years...........Those open chokes don't cut it period!!!.......We all used full and extra full(turkey choke) for optimum patterns.

Most quality guns have tapered dovetails..............Instruction are given on which way to tap(or use a pusher) out & back in........I think S&W is right to left looking from the rear of the slide.

I personally would not use ANY 410 for personal defense........Lots better stuff out there.

Ugh.....Have you cut open any modern BS shells?..............The old ones didn't . The new ones do.

My 97 was made in 1917. I shoot ANY 12 ga 2 3/4n load in it. Hvae killed several deer with it. No 2 3/4 in load buckshot or birdshot will harm it.
