I have a couple of 45s and 40S&W M&Ps, one has a laser, all mine were LEO trade-ins purchased at an auction for about $100 or more cheaper than Glocks ($175-225), I run the 14rnd mags and the only problems I've ever had was when I loaded some wad cutters (had more problems in my 1911s), mine prefers RN or SWC-RN. Most of my pistol shooting is done at 7, 10, and 25yrds, I can hold MOPP (minute of paper plate), IF I don't try stupid stuff (10 yrd run, hands in ice water bucket for 30 seconds, hold gun sideways or upside down, etc. between mags). Both of mine are the 1.0 versions, I've not changed the triggers but I might look into them, I've found doing some polishing and the use of dry graphite helps them. I also like that their holsters and sites are compatible with my 40 SDVEs that I keep at my desk and bedside. They fit my wrist better than a Glock. I bought some of the 10rnd mags and drilled out the "dimple" that restricted them and have not had any issues with them if you have problems finding the 14rnd ones.
Things I don't like are their accessories are fewer than Glocks and more expensive, There is not as big a following as with Glock so not as many YouTube videos about them if you need to see any.
