Carry Options... Is your gun "shootable" under stress?

That thing, right there in your britches, I don't need to stick one there to know I don't want one there. For a multitude of reasons. If that works for you, great. You do you. I'll do me. Because that right there is where my pecker lives and I don't want a Glock in my pants pointed at it, sitting or standing.

Is that a 33rd mag on your hip?

No one is telling you you have to. Youre the one going off on something you obviously have no experience with and want us to believe it wont work, and for reasons that arent true.

Ive used and worn one enough to be able to tell you they do work, and work very well, and "still" don't point at your junk. But by all means, you do you, and what works best for you. Some things just work better than others, and in some cases, better than anything else.

This one has a couple of years of use on it, and was worn daily, in places where you don't want to get caught wearing a gun, and wearing just a tucked in tee shirt most of the time.

And no one is telling you not to use it. As I said, if it works for you, that is great. I don't have to put one on to know it would be uncomfortable, FOR ME. Not only would it be uncomfortable but that discomfort would be for no good reason. I no longer live in a state with a concealment requirement. It's open carry here and I don't care if I print or not. Again, not everyone's situation is the same. Whether it's pointed 'at' it or not, I'm not carrying a pistol 'there'. Ever.

I've used one of these for about 10-15 years for jogging. If you have very much of a gut, it's hard to slide the pistol straight down into it. You can end up pointing it towards yourself if you're trying to get it around your gut.

Due to work and clothing requirements, I carry a true pocket gun nearly all the time. Due to the small size of the gun, and non-adjustable or imprecise sights, my pocket shooters are not capable of the comment from the article below.

"As convenient as it might be to carry an itty-bitty mouse gun, take it to the range and determine whether or not you could confidently make a brain shot with it from, say, 25 yards."

Truly, my pocket guns are for 10 yards and closer. 15 yards would be pushing it. I absolutely do not count on my pocket guns for brain shots at 25 yards.
Am I alone in thinking that if you need a 25 yard shot for self defense, if you expect to stay out of court, the aggressor had better have already shot at you and missed!

I'm always intrigued by these comments. What exactly precludes someone from being a threat at 25yds?
