How many have done this before?

I was depriming GFL 44 magnum brass and all the primer holes are off-center. I had been aligning them with my index finger while raising the ram.

Not even sure exactly how I did it, but I'm guessing I used the wrong finger, and had this one above the case.

Ram goes up, case goes in finger, lots of pirate talk comes out of my mouth, and off I go. Luckily my wife volunteered to finish em up. Off course she seemed to pay alot more attention to what she was doing for some reason.🤷‍♂️

You can use a file or spin the pin in a drill over a grinder and bevel it a little, inside deburring helps guide the pin in to.

I drew blood similarly, when I first started using a progressive. I was trying to take advantage of progressive speed by learning to feed .45 ACP round nose really fast. Placing bullets, getting your hand out of the way before the ram goes up trying to get into a rhythm. It was just a pinch, but it drew way more blood than such a thing should have and hurt like hell!! THAT's when I realized that bullet and case feeders are not only a good idea, but necessary for klutzes like me. Safer in other ways too.......you can better FOCUS on what's most important.....primer seating & powder charge!

There are other ways to draw blood in the hobby.....this was a THR member who carried a loaded primer tube across a nylon carpeted floor....they went off......

Static electricity? I do all my reloading on carpet. 😬

I think it's something like 30,000 volts to jump a 1/4" I've definitely seen it jump more than that, only a few milli amps. I remember in science class we used 9v batteries to Ignite flash powder or black powder.
