I’m about to start the same process. I have a bergara wilderness sierra . Just mounted a Trijicon Huron . I have barnes hornady speer and some nosler to load in various weights to try. I’m thinking of starting with h4350 . I will report back with progress. May take a while working lots lately...
Phill did you get to test the 240 wfn through your rifle?Hopping they work for you. I like how they shoot through my super Blackhawk/ They cycle through my Rossi lever but I haven’t shoot them through the Rossi yet. Bob
You should be present to look through the scope to have it set for you . The fellow mounting the scope should have you look through the scope for adjustment. And bore sighting may or may not be close . So site in close range maybe a large sheet of paper or severance paper targets . Best of luck Bob
Thanks guys. I received the Huron about a week ago . I tried low mounts but hit bolt while cycling action . Waiting for medium’s. It looks nice looking outside. I will report back after I get it mounted and sited in .very clear view. I believe I will really like it . Thanks Bob
Why do some tumble with primers still in the brass? I’m not judging I have always removed primers before tumbling? What are the advantages to leaving the brass primed?
I had cap guns lots of bb and pellet rifles .But the first time I fired a 22 rifle and smelled the burnt powder I was hooked. I guess I was around 10 years old. I also come from a hunting family. I have been blessed hunting with my family and friends since a young boy.
Phill I’m planning on mailing out the bullets and gc’s tomorrow after work. I crimp the Noe bullet in crimp groove and they cycle great in my Rossi 92 . Bob
I bought a Bergara wilderness summit in 30/06 . Thinking about the Trijicon Huron either 3 x9 or the 3x12.Anyone use these scopes?Trying to get user feedback. Thanks Bob
