I'm guessing he does not live here and there are probably limitations on what he can carry. Because of the calibers he's talking about I'm guessing he can't carry a caliber that could be considered a "military" caliber. That was the reason I suggested .44 Special loads for his .44 Magnum
I shot his a couple 4 years ago, and saw no reason to get anything weaker. As I got older I decided more power isn't always better (I killed a coyote with a .300 Ultra WinMag once).
So will a S&W Airweight J frame...I decided to go with a walther ppk, as it seems the most suitable. I'm not a fan of semi automatics but it gets the job done.
