Caliber selection for small frame hunter

Ammoseek has 243 starting at 0.67 cents a round and .270 starting at 0.74 cents per round. The 7-08 all started at over a buck a round. Thats why I was hesitant to recommend it unless you reload. I have been reloading for 7-08 and 243 for so long I don't remember what I paid for the components so for me its like its Free. I did buy 120 7-08 cases from a guy on another forum for $40. All once fired. He picks up the brass at his local range and sells it cheap.

6.5x55 started at 0.71 cents per round. Most was Sellior&Bellot.

Those are some pretty reasonable prices for these days.

TSUSA offers free shipping by the case, which helps their pricing a bit.

Really like the PPU brass for reloading, so that is also a win for a new shooter down the road.

The pricing for all the new cartridges are mighty steep, considering appropriate training volumes.
