False report. Another source is telling me that Paul is still fighting.
It was posted on snipershide that Paul passed away

Last weekend, I was out shooting with a friend at distances from 250-1100 yards. He has a Bushnell DMR 2 on his AR, and my scope is a Sightron 3-16x STAC on the 223 bolt gun.
We were shooting for a while and decided to swap rifles. I had shot his gun about 4 or 5 years ago, and was impressed...
I'm trying to figure out why Ramshot has True Blue and Silhouette as offerings. They look to be so close in burn rate on paper. I have used Silhouette with success but have seen True Blue recommended by several reloaders as of late.
I have the RCBS bench prime and it works okay, but I am looking to add something with a primer feed system. It also needs to seat small rifle magnum primers, such as the CCI 450.
Thoughts?
I built this up from a Remington 700 action a few yeas ago
22" Wilson SS Light varmint, 1:7 twist 223, remage nut barrel, in a Magpul Hunter stock. After shooting that stock for a while, I realized that it just didn't fit me all that well, including the grip angle, but I really liked the...
I've been shooting an older Remington 243 with the heavy varmint profile barrel.
Compared to my 6x47L and 6BR, this thing gets super dirty. 44 rounds and it takes several passes with a wet brush, soak, and a half dozen soaked patches to get clean. My load is 32.5 SW Precision behind a 105...
I am being told that the top trigger in this pic is a Tapco but when I compare it to my Tapco trigger on the bottom, it looks different.
Close up of unknown. It has an F marking on it
I have someone that asked me if I would be interested in purchasing this rifle but I am not sure what it is or the value. I figured you all could help me with that part
Tell me about this rifle.
There is one in the used rack at the local gunshop. It is missing the sights and isn't abused but shows signs of use. Are they super accurate or will a modern CZ 457, etc beat it?
I hear about it a lot, especially when someone is describing the difference between Remington, and Winchester, Mauser, etc actions.
While I do own some controlled round style actions, most of the time I am shooting a Remington short action or clone, and don't recall the bolt ever losing control...

I have an opportunity to purchase one of their 22LR barreled actions at a reduced price. Currently I am running a CZ455 which is doing well but I have always been intrigued by the 40X and this has me wondering if the Vudoo is worth the price of admission.
I...
I was looking at a few Tikka T3's at a gunshop and one of them was stainless Lite model with a 1:8 twist fluted barrel.
Did Tikka make a lot of these or was this a special run? I thought the 223's were 1:10 unless you were able to find a Sporter or Varmint.
I was out shooting with one of my customers over the weekend and he brought along his 10/22. Nice gun with the hammer forged barrel, Hogue stock, just like it came from the factory with the addition of a Leupold 3-9x scope.
We started off shooting five shot groups off his "Lead Slead" and...
This all started in this thread and thanks to taliv and all the folks that responded. This thread is an update to that one.
My gunsmith got bogged down at his real job which gave me some time to reconsider my decisions to go with a 243. My main reason for going that route is that I already...
I see a lot of posts made by individuals that carry multiple types and styles of guns. For instance the "carry rotation" which include a J-frame, a 1911, and a Ruger LCP.
This forum has provided me with a lot of good info over the years on defensive shooting. Things such as mindset...
I had a Remington 700 VS in 6mm Remington that was a good varmint rifle but sold it when I moved to Utah as I wasn't doing much varmint hunting. Last year I purchased another 700 in 308 but I am not enjoying the recoil when shooting from the bench. This one is a lighter setup so it is probably...

I am looking for something business casual that will hold up to daily use and holster carry but won't show signs of wear after a couple weeks.
The 5.11 belt that I have works great but looks worn after a couple months of use.
