Did one on a .22 rifle. Easy— no problems at all. Plumb bob & torque wrench. Held the gun in my shop vise with leather lined wooden jaw adapters. Bore sighted it on a fence post 25yds away. I hardly needed to adjust it after that.

Range trip today. Left grip is too sharp and left my hand sore. I sandpapered it to my satisfaction and rubbed some oil on it to hide the scuffs. LOK says they use mineral oil at the factory but any kind will do.
I do find the grips totally lock the gun in my hands— much more than the Pachmayr...
My new LOK grips came in today’s mail:
That’s the dark red/black color combination. They almost look like a dark mahogany.
They are very grippy—to the point I may touch them up with sandpaper. But first, a range trip is in order… to be continued.
The primer cup and pin is pressed in. I know because I have replaced a few over time. Lee used to sell them, may still. There’s no screw in part in that picture.
Edit: I just checked Lee’s website and they no longer sell the priming pin, cup, and spring separately— only the complete priming...
My old Pachmayr Signature grips are wearing out quickly, and I can’t seem to find them available anywhere. I have/want the kind with the checkered front and back strap, not the finger groove model.
And… I wouldn’t mind suggestions on your favorite source for Hi-power grips of any kind. I’m not...
