    Grail gun happiness

Every time I see one of these the 16 year old idiot in the back of my head goes "how hot can we load this one"

Not really, I struggle with picking a favorite.

    .22 Rifle Accuracy

I've had the good fortune of shooting with some high level competitive shooters, the more you ingrain the basics as reflexive the better you can focus on other details.

Arken scopes on sale for 25% off with SAVE25% code

I think you'll love the Match Pro I have it's predecessor Bushnell Elite SFP 6-24 and both a SH4 6-24 and EP5 5-25. The glass is pretty close with a slight edge to Bushnell, the biggest advantages the Arkens have is the turrets are very positive and they have more elevation adjustment.

Is everyone still loving their Ruger Wranglers?

I liked mine OK, I had one like Sparky's in 3rd post. Ultimately it just didn't do "it" for me I have other SAs and other 22s that I like better so It ended up sold.

    .357 Magnum Rifle

Man that would be a sweet gun. For myself i find a single shot rifle cathartic.

Ruger Mini Thirty. On the fence.

Meh when the minis were 2-300 and the ARs were 1000 minis had a draw for the economy. Likewise the X39 doesn't have the economic advantage it once did. I have moved on from both. Not that either is a poor choice, but there's a plethora of good choices today. I had a mini 30 when they first came...

Ruger Mini Thirty. On the fence.

For me I'd be more tempted by a Ruger American ranch.

A 22 rifle that just plain fits

One man's trash is another man's treasure lol. The drop is the thing I hated about my golden boy and the reason I sold it and got the frontier model. One of my favorite do everything 22s is my Savage Mk2 with a Boyd's stock, a Bushnell Elite 3-12x scope and it has a Tacsol Aeris suppressor

Beretta 21A or Ruger LCP II?

While nowhere as easy as just racking the slide, I've never needed more than a finger nail to get the shell out.

    Loading 5 in a revolver

That's pretty much me too, a lot of times I'll just put 5 in my high capacity autos if I'm just shooting for group sizi.

    Browning SA-22 with barrel bulge?

He had a squib that stuck a projectile where the bulge is. It happens more than one might think. It may affect accuracy but shouldn't cause any feeding issues. My guess without more details is either a bad extractor or the CCI mini mags are too hot for the SA.

    7prc suppressed barrel length question

You're playing a game of diminishing returns, ultimately you're the one that needs to decide if the juice is worth the squeeze. Even from a 16" barrel a cartridge capable of holding 80gr of powder will have more velocity than one that's only capable of 50gr. But it will be far diminished from...

Apparently we missed the analogy. Apparently some here think this when they see C&R When actually this could qualify

    Curio & Relic Carry Piece

C&R with regard to firearms only requires 50 years not really the same as antiques pre 1899.

    Reasons for keeping "safe queens"?

I'm not really sure exactly how to answer. There's really nothing in the safe that I won't shoot, some are heirlooms, some are collectibles and many are just shooters. But there in lies the rub I have a lot of shooters and nothing that really gets shot a lot. Even my LCR that gets carried quite...

    Shortest Practical Length for 7.62x39

Nice thing once you have a Form 1 SBR lower you're free to swap basically any upper you want onto it. I have 2 lowers SBRed and another one braced and have 6 uppers I can move around.

    Shortest Practical Length for 7.62x39

I'd agree 10" would be a good balance especiallyif you're mostly shooting supers. I don't play with 7.62x39, I do have 8" and 10.5" 300 Blackouts. My drop off in velocity with especially with subs isn't much with supers it's more significant although even then it's no deal breaker. The x39 has...
