I recently got some diamond stones for my Lansky kit and they really make quick work on the super steels. I was surprised how well they work. I only got 2 coarse ones and use my regular stones to finish the blades.
Midway is having a sale on this brand of ammo + $10 off $75 or more purchase. I have never heard of this brand. Looking at the reviews, it seems like it goes on sale regularly. Has anyone tried it?

Anyone installed one of these in their car/truck? With all the car break ins, I think it's time for me to lock my gun up and put a unicorn/my little pony bumper sticker on my car.

On a closed thread, @Anchorite suggested "I’m going to be the first to take credit for this …. why isn’t there an app that texts you when you leave your vehicle to make sure you took your firearm out? I mean, I get text updates after driving and parking on my vehicle location and another one to...
I have a chance to pick up a octagonal barreled 45 Colt with an MR serial number. I will get to handle it this week before I buy it. I saw the reviews that say the finish is rougher than the JM Marlin models but that if it functions well (and is put together properly), they are good shooters...
I sent my beater knife in to get sharpened and replacement handles and in about two weeks it came back looking like new for the cost of one way shipping. Note these handles are rubberized and apparently come with a lifetime warranty.
I'm sure this isn't news to most of you, but I recently got a strop and polishing compound and wow! I have an old Benchmade chisel ground Stryker that still has the factory grind and was hesitant to try to sharpen it myself. A few minutes with the strop and it's back to razor sharp again.
Anyone have any experience with these and if they improve your shooting experience? The glockstore dude says they are the bee's knees but I bet he feels that way about everything at his store.
So I waited too long to check my email and the closeout from knife center for $349 each was sold out. I'd appreciate if anyone sees someone else with a similar or better closeout price. I only seem be be finding it for around $400.
They are having a sale and with free shipping I figured I'd get an axe and a shovel to keep in the car in case I end up in the muck.

I just found out Wilson combat makes a six round magazine 47OXC-HV and I contacted tech-support to see how long it is but they said because of restrictions on movement they couldn’t go and measure it. I’m hoping somebody has one and can measure the back of it so I can see how close it is to the...
So I starting getting light primer strikes on my 41 Mag Blackhawk again and called Ruger last Wednesday. They made me pay $30 for shipping back to them since my revolver was made in 1974 and I thought it was very reasonable. Today (the following Wednesday), my Blackhawk shows up with a new...
I've got a 1968 3 screw Ruger Blackhawk 357 that I was gifted a while back. It was converted to have the transfer bar safety and the giver didn't have the original parts. I was shooting it the other day and would really like to have a wider trigger like my New Model Blackhawks have. I saw that...
There are a few people selling very good condition (from the pictures) 10 round mags on ebay. Does anyone know if someone like Aimsurplus (I already checked) imported a bunch and is selling them for more reasonable prices?
I am absolutely sure this is not a factory Glock assembly. I would like to ask anyone if they know who the OEM is for this and if and where I can find a replacement screw/cap. The seller said it was from JSD supply but I’m having trouble working with them since I don’t have the order number. You...
Earlier this year I picked up a Glock G 43 factory lower for about 100 bucks. I should’ve known better but since it was a complete lower I thought how can I lose. Well as everyone else has surmised if you buy a Glock in bits and pieces it’s definitely more expensive than buying a whole one...
