Is USCCA getting a fair shake on YouTube?

There is no consensus on fair, video channels have nothing to do with fair, and this is an issue of whose product, if any, meets the needs of the consumer. Time to clear the channel.

Walther PP vs Makarov PM vs… Everything Else

My German PPK/S in 380 and my Russian commercial Pistolet Makarova in 9x18 were functional but not optimal. The Walther was beautiful but DA trigger pull was heavy. It never drew blood but I have read many accounts of slide bite. Sights were tiny, capacity was limited. The Makarov had adjustable...

    Benefit of Safety Training

The best way to learn is to teach. The young folks in our classes are there because they can legally hunt at 11 if they show us that they understand the principles of hunter safety and responsibility. Otherwise, they do not qualify for a license until 16. We have adults in every course who are...

By this time, everyone has had an opportunity to offer advice/experience. Every marriage/relationship has a different blend of personalities and priorities. OP has likely moved on with life, and so should we.

    Fill sand for rear rest

I once thought rice would be a nice lightweight alternative, and so did the mice in my garage... These days I think I would go with grex or some other granulated polymer.

    Keystone KSA 10-22 barrel accuracy?

I thought @LiveLife mentioned a KSA barrel on one of his guns. He may be able to help you out.

    Garbage like this realllllly annoys

The sad part for me is that eventually one of the delusional clowns that buy these will hack someone up with it. Each and every bullet point is nonsense, especially the spurious US stamp and date. PT Barnum was being charitable! It has 4.6 stars, however, so this helps to understand the rating...

    Swiss Army...tool

Scissors with blades less than 4" from pivot are OK for carry-on per the site, but I have to wonder if pointed scissors would be permitted. Swiss army knives are currently prohibited unless they have a rounded, non-serrated blade. Butter knives are not prohibited in carry-on, nor corkscrews...

    Swiss Army...tool

TSA generally bans tools that may intimidate, injure or cut. I can see potential issues with corkscrews, pointed files, scissors, and even can openers. As noted above and in other threads, individual TSA personnel have wide latitude. Any new solution would likely require accompanying...

    = $95 = Viridian Serac 6-24x50 (30mm tube) - Natchez Tax Refund Sale

Scope, mount and rings all ordered at different times, all showed up May 6. I put rig together two days later, may try preliminary sight-in later today. I really like the fit and finish of the Warne 15 pic mount. Cheaped out with Monstrum V2 rings, but they are easily swapped out if any issues...

Is USCCA getting a fair shake on YouTube?

Insurance contracts are limited by the language of the policy and by state laws governing policy coverage. The recommendation above to read the policy was good advice, but even if the conduct isn't specifically excluded from coverage, the effect of state law may be to prohibit coverage. An...

If You Desire to Have an Attorney and Cannot Afford One, ....

As Alexander Pope noted 300 years ago, a little learning is a dangerous thing. Due in part to the entertainment industry, many have the erroneous impression that if they are not mirandized, their statements may not be used against them. As noted previously, timing, setting and circumstances bear...

    Digital Trigger Gauge

One thing I discovered with my Lyman trigger pull scale is that when I set the trigger of my Tikka T3 near the lightest end of the pull range, readings became more erratic. Getting back off that ragged edge made the trigger pull more uniform and positive.

    New CZ Varmint .22 LR

I am hoping mine will take a liking to Norma Tac 22, as it seems to be available at a reasonable price. With my luck, however, it will insist on Lapua polar biathlon.
