Yep. That’s what a camping/woods knife is for. Use it and abuse it. Don’t worry if it gets scarred.

Yep. I'm a steel junkie, so 7Cr doesn't trip my trigger from a collecting perspective (though it's mostly folders I collect). But as a tool, it works, and I won't cry if it gets beat up. And, if I bugger up the edge, my diamond stones can sharpen it back like nothing compared the my more expensive knives.

That’s what I got it for. A tool. There aren’t too many Harbor Freight collectibles. Lol
