Not for me. I got the CMMG because it seemed silly to just have a dedicated .22 AR upper or any of the other half dozen .22s when I could use this with any of my other ARs.Gonna be a lot more .22 shooting as component supply gets worse.
I need to pick up one of those.
Some folks complain about the accuracy using them in 1/7-1/9 bores, but mine has always been acceptable out to 50YDs.Not for me. I got the CMMG because it seemed silly to just have a dedicated .22 AR upper or any of the other half dozen .22s when I could use this with any of my other ARs.
I love my Rascal, and have given several as gifts, to both kids and adults and everyone loves them.I hobbled out to the range today and shot my Ruger Wrangler and my Savage rascal . I'm just getting to the point I can put weight on my foot (surgery April 1st) I needed to get out so I kept it light. If you get past the "it's a kids rifle" the Rascal is fun to shoot very accurate for a cheap gun . I'm starting to get the Wrangler to the point I can see the sights decent. And it's a shooter . I actually felt like crap, was hoping getting outside would help. Back in the late seventies early eighties I coonhunted over hounds. The Savage Rascal would have been the perfect gun for that . Light, under 3 pounds, plenty accurate. We used a single shot for safety after dark . And being orange it would be easy to see if someone leaned it against a tree
Sorry to hear about your wrist putting you out of commission. Hope all goes well and you'll be back in the game soon.Ruger 77/22 .22 Hornet. Nikon 6-18 Buckmaster scope.

But a recent spotter at a gun club (he is on the board) indicated that I hit a 400-yard gong with it, at least once. The limitations of this rifle seem to be "bipedal" / two-legged.
