Some of you may remember that a couple months ago I was chased home by a Highway Patrolman - a Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman with a four-inch barrel, to be exact. (If you don't, here's that thread: https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/s-w-model-28-2-highway-patrolman.827203/ ).
So I was out Christmas shopping - for one of my kids, really - when what should I spot but another Model 28-2, this one with a six-inch barrel, and, well, you know the rest...
This one is slightly newer - probably 1975 production versus 1971 or so for the other - and sports a trigger shoe. I know these were popular back in the day, I'm just not sure why. And it dwarfs the smaller gun - the four-incher isn't exactly little, but it looks like a snubbie next to the big six!
