Carlson's really made in USA?

Hey all, I recently received a carlson's barrel through Midway for my 870. Issue is though where it was made wasn't my reason for choosing this company(reviews were) but on the side it plainly says made in Turkey. How can they advertise as made in USA then plainly say made elsewhere? If it patterns fine I don't mind I'm just curious.

Highly doubt they make any barrels in house, they just don't sell enough to make it worth it.

When they said made in the USA i'd assume they're talking about choke tubes.

My carlson 20" rifle sight/remchoke barrel is made in turkey too. 870 barrel.

They make their chokes in house.

You're right their CHOKES are made in USA barrels are made in Turkey, but as I said as long as it patterns well, I don't care if it was made in OZ

you turkeys can FEEL any way you want.....But I THINK I would prefer and American made barrel..

To each their own my friend do whatever brings you happiness. Just don't limit yourself by not trying the foreign stuff, who knows you may find even better craftsmanship on a few different makes.
