Two MkIIs

I voted zero so maybe I can find another for myself
Around here they are scarce and expensive when you find them. Not interested in the MkIII since the mags are different and I've pleny of MkII mags.

One seems to do nicely.

Two in every barrel length, model and finish would be plenty. One of each for open sights and one for an optic.

It came from the factory that way. My Mk.II was part of a 2,000 limited edition run made for a distributor (I believe it was Outdoor Sports), back in 1989. There was also a Ruger Bisley in .22LR done up the same way. Both were priced about the same but I only had enough money for one of them so I went with the Mk.II. Very happy that I did!

And yes, I have no idea how you resisted a Mk.II like that either!

Four Mark ONEs for me ! 1960s MK1 target 6 7/8" done up by Clark in La. that was my Dad's replacement for Woodsman Match Target and he said was better . A 1978 bull barrel that is electroless nickled and now has a Cmore red dot , and a still in the box 1976 Liberty 4 3/4 Standard Model , and an old beater 6" standard model that was thrown in floor of pick up/jeeps for 35 years and still shoots great. I have 6 extra factory mags for them , NEVER a problem cleaning didn't fix.

Need? Zero.

Have? One.

Want? Two.

I’m also a fan of the Buckmark, Colt Woodsman, S&W 422... but my stainless MKII is a pistol I’ll never get rid of.

I currently just have a single Mark I, but I could see myself accumulating more if I ran across the right deals. A long barrel hunter model would be nice to have. Although I could accumulate more Buckmarks instead (also only have one) and it wouldn't bother me a bit.

Don't have one, and my "need" is covered by my '57 Standard.

But, would like a MkII. With a can, while I'm thinking about more toys...

Need? None. Humbug.
But I'd argue that any shooter needs a pistol like it. A Standard, Mark II, III, IV, Buckmark, etc.
Me, I'm exceedingly happy with my heavy-barrel 22/45. As a Mark III, it just needs a q-tip swiped at certain spots every five hundred or thousand rounds or so.

Nice. Real nice. I'm liking both of those.

I have had mine for almost 28 years and it hasn't worn out yet. I haven't tired of it either.

Do Mk II or III 22/45s count?

I'll see if I can snap some decent pictures of them.

The first Mk I shot was a 10" barrel, it was amazing!

I got one and Dad got a bull barreled on in SS!

It’s a 10”. I picked it up used, in 1988 for $125 because it was so ugly. I blasted it and hot blued it in my father in law’s shop.

Well at this moment 2 is enough for me. 1st. is a standard bull barreled target, the 2nd is the same thing but heavily modified for bullseye match use. Of course if another 1(or maybe 2) wander my way with a fair price I just might have to change my vote.

I must have felt at some time that the answer is two, because that's how many I have.

I bought the first, a Standard Mk-II, new in 1987. The second, a Target Model, came along used about two years ago. I haven't shot that second one yet (but I must have thought I needed it.)
