I have a J.C. Higgins Model 88 revolver, based on the earliest versions of the High Standard Sentinel, probably a R-101 or R-102 (dated about 1955 or 1956).
In 1961 the R-102 added a return spring to the ejector rod, which my Model 88 does not have.
I also have a High Standard Sentinel Deluxe Model R-106 (made in 1962) which does have the return spring.
Does anyone have any practical suggestions of how I might retro-fit my Model 88 to have an ejector return spring like my Deluxe Model R-106 ?
Thanks.
