I am looking at buying a Keltec Sub 2000. Probably 9mm. Anyone have experience with this gun? What aftermarket mods are good and what ones are junk?
Thanks

Brother has one an its a well thought out carbine. He put a 45 degree offset pictinney rail and mounted a reflex sight so it can still fold with it on there.
That's not a bad idea, and addresses my biggest complaint.
If that interests you, weigh a 45 offset with this option from Midwest Industries. If I were to buy a Sub2000 I would go with Midwest Industries mount.
I have an AR9 so that fills my 9mm carbine role, otherwise I would look into a Sub2000
The problem with the 45 offset is one needs to have a high rise red dot to get good sighting ability (which puts it out there for storing), whereas the Midwest Industries mount gets it high and in line with the original sights and folds in an out of the way position.
I did the same to mine. I'm a lefty and this is really beneficial to me because mine's a 40 and the blowback wants to ignite my eyebrows. Tilting it 45º really helps direct the blast away from my face.Brother has one an its a well thought out carbine. That's a real slick solution!
My fix to get a folding 9mm was to grab a CZ EVO pistol and throw a Tailhook on the factory side folder. Can't say I regret it, but can't say I wouldn't have been equally happy with the Sub2k either with some of the mods that are finally coming out for it.
