A few months back I was looking for a set of grips for a J frame and as much as I liked the look of the gray g10 pachys I couldn’t find any to feel, and $60 shipped was more than I wanted to risk on it because the shape is like my Taurus 327 grips which I disliked. Today I ran across a “used” set at a shop I used to frequent. Appear to be new out of package, possibly installed but seldom used. $18. I like the texture, but still not fond of the shape.

Is anybody using these on a carry gun? I’m considering putting them on the Taurus 327 and protecting the nice wood grips I bought for it.

The only guns I have them on right now are a Colt Defender and a Sig 1911. I like the no-slip grip, and they don't seem to hang up on cover garments.

G10 grips are easily adjusted by sanding
Be aware that G10 dust can be very dangerous and you should wear a mask/respirator when working with it

G-10 is a laminate of resin and fiberglass. The resin is toxic, when heated and the fumes get into the lungs. Fiberglass is just that: glass. Once those shards get into your lungs, they'll likely never come out.
