I'm shooting .32 Long, so what recoil? How do the bird’s head grips handle recoil vs plow handle grips?

I’m kind of wondering if the recoil rolls upward like a plow handle or rearward more like a Bisley? It’s a 32 H&R, so recoil management isn’t really part of the discussion. They’re shorter barrels on Single Six frames, so holding up a heavy muzzle with your pinky really isn’t an issue either. For me, they fit the hand far better than the new version of the XR3 grip frame.

Nice. It's too bad they have to write a book on the side of the gun.Found this little beauty this morning:

Ain't it CUTE? I'll be shooting .32 Long with it. It's my one and only single action revolver. I guess I'll have to wear cowboy boots when I head to the range.

Not really the same gun and not approved for use in SASS. But was really just commenting on this particular gun and Ruger era. They don’t on the new ones. And they’re in 327FM, with an extra round over the old pre-2005 version.
