I thought the same thing , Id say the revolver couldn't handle the pressure of 7 rounds of 327 ....
The small frame 5 shot 32 H&R's has always been a good seller for Charter
And the 327 Charters didn't sell worth crap ..

I'm on board. I loved the versatility of the .327, but it's a moot point. I stumbled across exactly one box of .327 mag in the two years that I owned it. Yes, I could buy online, but I usually just shot .32 long out of it. 7 rounds of .32 on hand beats 5 rounds of unobtanium .327.

I think the CA would make for a nice little boat gun. You know, the kind of gun you take in a canoe or fishing boat "just in case". Good for plinking or repelling cottonmouths.

I've become quite the CA fan. This looks right up my alley. Thanks for sharing:)

I'm not a big fan of the fiber optic sight. I generally don't care for them. Still, the more I look at this one, the more I see something promising. I dig the wood grips, but I could see putting a set of compacts on it to conceal it a bit better. Nice thing about CA is that all their grip frames are the same size. I have 3 grips for my Pitbull as it is. Buying this gun would bring that to 4 options. Chunky rubber combat grips, Pach compacts, Tiny Off Duty grip, and this wooden set. Lots of roles to be filled between .45 and .32 with several grip options. I'll be looking into this one over the summer for sure.

Interesting, but odd since .327 revolvers can still chamber .32 H&R and offer a more versatile revolver.

I'd greatly prefer a .327magnum, but I doubt this revolver is being marketed towards folks like me.

That would be my guess as well. However, I'd still rather have a 6-shot .327 Fed over a 7-shot .32 H&R. Then again, I'm not their market audience with this; I haven't a problem with recoil.

With all that said, should they offer this same thing in .327 Federal and the price is reasonable, I'm all over it.

Yep , I can see how a 6 shot 327 in the same setup would have its advantages

I really like my Police Undercover,
Six shot 38spl ... All steel 19oz

I gonna start putting away a bit of scratch for the the purchase of one of these 7 shooters ...
Should be a good carry option...
32 H&R for SD , 32 Long and 32acp for play

When I saw this I was thinking a 327 would appeal to me more but after watching the luckygunner video on the 32 cartridges I'm rethinking the absolute need for the extra power of the 327. I'd still prefer the option of cartridges as versatility is one of the big draws to revolvers for me, needed or not. I've shot the Hornaday FTX loads along side Federal 327 rounds and I'm really questioning the truth in the Hornaday video about recoil, definitely some marketing magic going on. I've never shot a CA revolver, which way does the cylinder spin and how does the release operate? Looking at the picture I'm guessing clockwise and push forward correct?

Hornady 80 grain FXT has about 2.8 times less recoil than a full power 327 Federal load.

It depends on which 327 Federal ammo you shot. There is a wide range of power levels for 327 Fed ammo. The lower recoil versions aren't bad to shoot. Even full powered 327 Fed has about 30% less recoil than full powered 357 Mag, so the difference in those two cartridges is pretty significant.

Very cool. I’d also prefer a 2 inch but I’m glad to see this nonetheless.

What size frame is this? Or more pointedly, what grips would fit it? Because I’m not a fan of the grip that’s on it.

It is built on the Bulldog frame .. Like the 6 shot 38spl, & 5 shot 357 & 44 spl

Charter has only one grip size
