I was able to acquire of these, complete thanks goes to Bud's for filling my order of one which went out of stock twice before they received one and reserved it for me.
I used to shoot bullseye with a Buckmark slab side, great gun but as I always hated the 10 round capacity of most .22 pistols - this was right up my alley.
It's fairly easy to break down, and reassemble - the manual makes it seem more difficult than it actually is.
First off, the mags are easy to load. If you follow directions, and load the mags as described, you shouldn't have any trouble getting all 33 into the mags if you pay attention. Basically, just remember to push the round all the way back when loading so it pops upwards. I had one round I missed this on, was rim mocked and failed to feed.
I shot about 400 rounds of Federal Champion bulk high velocity, and one box of CCI standard velocity and all cycled perfectly. The manual states to high velocity ammo, but it handed the standard stuff fine.
Other than that, there's a ton to like about the CP33. It's sort of an AR/pistol hybrid in that it has a substantial charging handle as well as a Magpul M-LOK accessory attachment on the dustcover.
The sights are excellent, easily adjustable rear sight as well as a full length picatinny rail to add the optic of your choice.
I'm still getting to know my CP33, have not found anything I hate about it yet.
I cannot wait to get it to the range again, and try some other ammo to see what it likes.
