Well, I finally got off my keister and did it. I took a 6x12" piece of Kydex I had from a project I never started and made myself a pocket holster. My 1st one. I made a pattern out of paper, put the Kydex into the toaster oven, and proceeded to mold it around my P365 by (leather gloved) hand. Cut it with tin shears and a rotary tool cut-off wheel, smoothed the edges, and shaped it a little more using a heat gun. Popped in a pop rivet for good measure (didn't have any grommets). Took less than 1 hour once I had the plan laid out in my head and the F-1 race was over. It has nowhere near the fit and finish of the commercial holsters, but baby it works, and for less than $3 in materials! And I'll say it was WAAAYY easier to work the Kydex than the internet pros make it sound, which was why I never did start that other Kydex project in the first place. Didn't need a calibrated temperature gun, nor a press with heat resistant foam, nor a vacuum system, nor high temperature gloves. Holster still has pattern marks in the image, it's not stitched. Anyways, I'll probably need to tweak on it some more as I wear it and figure out how to improve it. But good to go, for now!
