On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson (Fox) was the only spokesman for common sense to be found as regards Wally World, gun grabbing hysteria, and the reality of current political suggestions that are taking the tone of demands. Said Mr. Carlson: "Walmart, after having destroyed American retail and made this country much uglier, and empowered the fascist government of China, has a lot of brass lecturing the rest of us about anything at all. They ought to be ashamed of themselves."

He also said that current suggestions for nationwide confiscation is like asking for a Civil War, which any real American knows is true.

Well poor Tucker, he lives in a city where the greatest sin is telling the truth too loudly, but he's willing to voice contempt, which he feels deeply, and then take his lumps. He will now face real heat, and management at Fox, as well as advertisers, are inclined to bend with public pressure, which is well organized and VICIOUS.

Here's what Tucker said last night.

Some kind support and encouragement would help us all, and of the many ways to reach Fox Management and Tucker, is through Tucker's corporate (FOX WEBSITE) page:

https://www.foxnews.com/shows/tucker-carlson-tonight

If you drop down on the left hand side you will see a small COMMENTS FORM, real easy to add a word of encouragement and support. The reason this approach is more powerful than others, the comments go directly to top management, often a solid sampling is printed and circulated.

There's a thread regarding Walmart's decision to stop selling handgun and some rifle ammunition, as well as their decision to push for more gun control. Whether it's Walmart or another corporation that has jumped into the political fray and are now anti's, every dollar you spend with them helps finance their efforts. I contacted Walmart's corporate office (479-273-4000) this morning to let them know I'll no longer be shopping there and why, and cancelled my Sam's Club membership, letting them know why as well. With the anti's being well funded, organized and very vocal, we can not let their voices be the only ones heard or corporations will continue to pander to them. There are many forum members who stated that they'll no longer shop at Walmart, and I'd encourage everyone who's doing so to call them to let them know why, and to do so with any other corporation that's taking similar actions.

Done, got a reply and a survey to fill out, answered the survey with my thoughts as well, so hopefully more than one department will know my thoughts on the matter. Told them that as long as this policy is in place, I will shop elsewhere.

Not saying they can't do it, saying they shouldn't, and the fact that they did, will have consequences.

Tucker called it right. CNN and the ilk absolutely love a shooting. And it is all political and facts are something that just get into the way. CNN is So Full of this horrid propaganda. Walmart is doing one thing. Make Money at the expense of American Citizens killed by a mass murderer. Not only did they have a lack of security, they now come out with Propaganda to make themselves the good guys that are anti-2nd amendment. They are patronizing the base group of shoppers. And the audacity of telling people to not arm themselves when shopping at their cheesy store. Yes, actually telling people to NOT protect themselves.
Look at BP after the Great Oil Spill. Commercial after commercial painting themselves as environmentalist and all out good guy.I will emphatically say this. CNN LOVES a mass Killing. And they will milk it to no end. Over and over, and a way to make it look like it is Trumps fault. The Republicans fault, the fault of the second amendment. It is the worst Propaganda in History. And again, a Wedge issue. NO, they will not talk about where the real murders are. Why, because it is their base that is doing it. Just look at the numbers. A wedge issue, a way to continue to bash Trump. Focus on the murders in a Walmart rather than the economy or any of the good things that Trump has accomplished. Things they just cannot talk about.
They never will talk about where 70% of all violent crime comes from Oh, no, that would be telling a fact that could hurt them. CNN, Walmart etc. are a growing Cancer is so many ways. They are destroying this country, slowly but surely. A steady devaluation of America. Yes, they want more than anything to disarm the honest citizen. Reduce him to a sitting duck and make money along the way.Destroy the culture of America and reduce it to the bottom of the pits.

you know why the mom'n-pop stores lost money and eventually closed? it wasn't because people expressed their feelings to them, its because people spent their money elsewhere. if you think Walmart gives two rips about your opinion you are delusional. if Walmart takes a financial hit then they might, maybe pay attention....

You're correct that voicing opinions but continuing to shop there will accomplish nothing. They'll make changes when their pocket books are hurt. Whether they experience a measurable loss in revenue will be determined, but the reason I'll no longer shop there or at Sam's is because my conscience won't let me fund anti's efforts.

but the reason I'll no longer shop there or at Sam's is because my conscience won't let me fund anti's efforts.

And there lies the problem in America; we have lost our conscience. We have become a largely selfish, greedy, sinful, and narcissistic bunch. Look at most of the replies on gun forums regarding the Walmart issue. People don't care because it doesn't effect them. What they are mostly too ignorant to realize is that it affects ALL gun owners in a very negative way. Thinking that the nation's largest retailer and supplier of ammunition is now openly anti-RKBA and calling for the outlaw of "assault weapons" is no big deal and won't affect them is the height of ignorance.

I wish Wal Mart would stop selling firearms and ammunition - period.

They have descended from faithless ally to open enemy so long past time to stop buying either firearms or ammunition from them. If they want to make a Dick's out of themselves then let them.

Make your purchases from businesses that support the cause.

Walmart is virtually the only source for inexpensive medical supplies, like generic insulin and diabetic test strips, that some people literally can't live without. You can't expect them to honor a boycott.

I agree that it's unreasonable to ask someone to jeopardize their health to honor a boycott, and I also understand that there are areas of the country, especially some small towns or rural areas where Walmart may be one of the few options available. I'm in a different position, in that living in the Chicago suburbs I have more than enough other places to shop and no longer going to Walmart or Sam's is not a problem. When I posted this I wasn't thinking of it in terms of a boycott. I wanted forum members to consider who they're supporting with their dollars and to realize that Walmart is now one of the corporations which will use our money to promote policies many if not most of us are opposed to.

Walmart no longer price matches items that can be bought cheaper elsewhere. Walmarts prices have been steadily climbing the last decade. Walmart Online is more expensive than Amazon. I now do a lot of shopping online via Amazon, shipping is usually free to my house. I buy bulk non-perishable foods online, rice, beans, honey, jam, specialty items like Marmite. Smith's (Kroeger) which was once more expensive than Walmart but has higher quality food items is now about 10% cheaper in my town. Walmart opened a Supercenter a decade ago but it wasn't able to close the Ma & Pa Butcher or Hardware store nearby, nor the barbers, salons, gun stores, tire shops etc. Just the opposite, we now have more growth including a new German bakery that an acquaintance helped renovate and now bakes there with his wife and the owner. They never advertised other than FB, are located in a hidden strip mall and word of mouth has been like wildfire. They sell out every day and are already thinking of expanding. I'm glad Walmart is going this route, it will be their demise and rural and suburban America will once again have peace from this International conglomerate selling us BS Chinese items. Vote with your feet.

the ammo i bought at Walmart was-is very small and only when on discount, but when there I may buy some thing else, food stuff, paint, cigars, batterys, cleaning items(soap detergent ) ect. that come up to more than I spend on ammo. so now I will shop at other out lets, it may cost me a little more but I,m good with that.

I just sent an email to Walmart corporate office as well. My trips there are going to vastly decrease if not stop.

No, I wouldn't expect them to, but then I wasn't speaking of a general boycott of everything Wal Mart sells, but specifically firearms and ammunition. Let them stop selling firearms and ammunition altogether. Give your business in such items to businesses who support our cause, not enemies who make their thinking clearer every time they speak.

Absolutely. I don't think I've ever bought anything firearms-related at Walmart. (The ones in my area have a poor selection anyway.)

Talk to your local pharmacist, sometimes they come close to their price if not lower, mine did on my inhalers. I will drastically cut back my trips to WM, I like their bread and bottled water but I can find a substitute elsewhere. I know a person that works in sporting goods at a WM but I haven't talked to her since this happened
