Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Hi...
Today was a gun shop tour kind of day so my son and I were in buying more.
We started off by visiting Kings Shooter's Supply in King of Prussia Pennsylvania to buy some bullets.
500 each of cast .45Colt, .357Mag and 9mm powder coated bullets.
Then we stopped at Cabela's in Hamburg, Pa...we bought nothing there. Since the merger with Bass Pro shop there prices have increased considerably.
Then we stopped at a local gun shop in Lebanon Pa and bought some targets, a box of clay birds and a pair of insulated waterproof boots for my son.

Just trying to build up the component supply.

Tomorrow is going to be a range day.

I ordered a new vise, a Chapman screwdriver set, and some punches. Also some Dewey rods to replace my old Hoppes set. I am hoping it will arrive in time for me to get to work next weekend.

50 pieces of 460 S&W once fired(?) brass with Hornady H.S. @ a gun show today.
Obviously tumbled in walnut media with primers still intact. Some primers showed pressure problems, but in my experience that is not always a legitimate sign......

Bought a S&W M&P .22 Compact at Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday. Have to wait for the background check to clear since Washington's ignorant voters screwed up the previous system that worked just fine for decades. (CPL holders used to be able to walk out with anything after passing telephone background check, sigh...)

Was on business in an area town with a sportsman's Warehouse. Stopped by and grabbed some more small pistol primers, Ramshot Silhouette powder, HSM "Bear Loads" in 10mm on sale, and a thermal underwear top for my elk camp trip this week.

I finally FINALLY got myself a upLULA magazine loader. I have only had one on by "to buy" list for the better part of a decade. Got it in foliage green. Just to clash with all the black accessories in my safe.

100 rounds of Hornady 6.5 PRC ammo to break in a new rifle and set a baseline for my reloading efforts. Unloaded brass costs pretty close to $1 a case at this point, so paying $1.70 per round delivered for loaded ammo isn't too bad, and I'll have 100 once-fired cases to work with. Already have bullets and powder, so by the third firing the average cost per round will be down closer to where it should be.

Ordered 5K CCI 450 primers and 5K CCI 200 primers from Powder Valley.
Took advantage of half price Hazmat, and put in for a 20% rebate from CCI.

Let me know how they work out for you, I have an RIA 9mm to feed as well...........

I finally got to the range and tested the Zenith 9mm 1911 mags in my RIA.

They work just as well as the Wilson mags. I've not found any other 9mm 1911 mags that work in this pistol besides these two. Everything else nosedives on the first round.
