This is true, a hidden screw. lolIf you look really close it does have the fourth screw. Lighting and the color-case hardening obscure it, but it's there.

1969 Uberti 1860 Richards Type 1 Conversion in 44 Colt Centerfire (outside lubed).
The Navy grip is something special isn’t it? Thinking of moving it to an saa....woodnbow
You've got some mighty nice wood on those grips of yours! Thanks for sharing!
Jim, I just noticed your response to my post... no, I don’t think I will sell the wood, I like it too! ;-) I may be moving it to an SAA if it will fit. Some Uberti stuff will and some will not.I am old school and like nice wood and blued guns. Although I don't like shorty guns, the wood on the gun on the left is reminiscent of Circassian Walnut from when I was a kid in the 60's looking at Fajen and Bishop catalogs.
Very nice! Those are 1851 Navy grips. I am always looking for good wood for my Pietta Navies as an upgrade. Would you consider selling that wood? If so, PM me.

Did you do that barrel address?
It looks like it rolled right off the Colt assembly line!
I am very impressed.

You do some outstanding work. All those sweet pic got my thinking about sending sending you a revolver to have you work your magic on it. Just can’t make up my mind on what I want done.
Jim, I just spotted this one on eBay, dunno how it would work with Pietta frame but maybe you could work it out?I am old school and like nice wood and blued guns.
