Yeah, and the real bottom line is that no matter what we do for a living, our jobs are the same, to make our company/corporation/boss money. We are paid because we generate income in some way for our company (unless you have a government job, I know there are some exceptions).
When people are making enough money on Youtube to have that as their primary income source, they're making somebody money. It's about selling advertising.
Not everyone likes it, but it's the world we live in now.
Not gonna lie, I wish I could film gun videos all day and have that as my job. But alas, I don't have the personality or skillset to do so.
Have you ever worked in the entertainment industry before? You wish you could make gun videos all day but the truth is once your joy in life becomes a job it will test your level of interest in continuing, especially when pay is low, expenses high, and workload heavy. And to top it off people tell you that you should only expect hobby level pay for your work and everyone offers a quick opinion but not a hand. The reality is most people want routine 9-5 job with benefits and a couch out once they are home. Few willing to do the grunt work and the late nights and early mornings it takes to live the "dream". Also, never forget the entire industry is full of the very best and worst humanity has to offer.
