Red Ryder adult?

What you think of them. Are they worth the extra $25 for just a longer stock?.

I was never allowed to have one when I was a kid, dad said there more dangerous then 22s. I've shot 22 before I can even remember. I love the Christmas story movie, I like to keep it on all day and night when it's on. My mother can't stand it lol.

My dad never liked them because his cousin would shoot him when they were kids and he would get in trouble after beating the cousin up.

So anyone look at the adult, or should I just get the normal one. I have not looked online but what do the original ones bring these days.

I could make the stock if I want it longer. I have some walnut and curly maple. Do you know how the new ones shoot. Dad has a early one with the brass band and it will shoot bottle caps all day at 10 yards. I don't shoot it anymore.

It would be cool to not rod one. I miss having the old daisy 10 pump guns can't remember the model had a nice one with old 3/4 tube scope, I shot that one a lot. Funny I want to get these air guns back.

We had a few crossman 760s they were fun to and shot good. I liked how you could shoot bbq and pellets.

I could make the stock, to save the $20. I wished they did some other things different with the adult. But under stand why they did not. I may have to go pick up some one day. I'd like to get daisy 753 I believe. I used one when I shot jrotc air rifle I only used it for a month but I shot 4 perfect 300 score with one.Cmp has them for $105 but I'd have to have someone but it for me.

Ok cool they were a very accurate rifle. I think I'd get the sporter stock. How are the plastic Chinese repro sights.

Thanks I remember having the daisy pump, think it was a 25 I think dad said it was pre ww1. I also remember a Winchester copy think it was a 1894 .

Ok that's good, I am going to spend way to much lol. I am up to 5 I'd like to get.

Like Troy said, the regular = sporter. The regular stock is actually the stock that came on the 853 originally. The Monte Carlo target type stock is what came on the 753.

You hunted with yours or just shooting. They shoot so good head shot at 10 to 12 would kill a squirrel.

Ya that's what I kinda thought, sounds like fun tho. I made the pre qualifier for the 08 Olympics with the daisy when I was in jarotc. I think I could have went farther but my parents separated and missed the shoot because of court.

Ya, I remember shooting over a dozen perfect 300 scores. with that cheap gun still can't remember if it was a 753 or not, I was getting fitted at the time for a anschutz. I had to move after the divorce the new school did not have a air rifle team.
