I'm getting ready to start reloading .223 rem. I have dies in the mail along with a case trimmer. I will be looking for powder and bullets when things become available. I've spent the last few days prepping the brass as far as I can go until my dies get here. I have decapped, cleaned and removed crimps from the primer Pockets and ran everything through the ultrasonic cleaner. Now I'm at a standstill until I have dies. When the dies and case trimmer get here I plan to resize and trim my cases and run through the cleaner one more time.
I could look through my manuals and find several powders that will work but I'm curious as to what everyone else is using and what you all prefer. For now these will get ran through a couple of my ARs for general plinking purposes and I plan to work up my own loads depending on what bullets I decide to use.
Until powder, primers and projectiles become available locally I am just get started on case prep.
