Been spending a lot of time at the indoor range lately and i've got a bad case of Loader Thumb!:cuss:
Thinking about a loader. A woman at the range said she uses the Maglula Uplula. but I looked it up on the net and it's pretty pricey!
What do you guys think? Is it worth it? :uhoh:

It's worth it. I've used one on a couple of occasions to load and shoot more than 1000 rounds into pistol mags in a single day. I've not found anything better. Looks like they are running $30-$35 these days.
Thanks John it looks like Newegg the computer store of all places has got one for $29.95.

I load all my mags before I go tho the range and use the Up Lulas all the time. They have become a bit salty price-wise, but if you look around, you can usually find them for cheaper. Just dont click on the first link you come across.

The last one I got this past summer was around $23. That one wasnt on the first page of the search results. Click around before you buy, youll usually do better. :)

I agree with the others here. Very well worth it.
To avoid cheap knockoffs, I'd by from MidwayUSA, or other reputable sites.

I have two of the 9mm and above. Use to have the one that fit for 380 and below. That one worked good also, but none of our 380 mags are the hard to load. Traded it for either an old single shot 22 or a weaver 2.5x scope.

Well worth it. I bought one a little over a year ago and have loved everything about it. Well almost. The only color in stock when I got mine was bright PINK! But looking back it was a great choice. Nobody is going to take it and it’s easy to see no matter where I set it down.

Mag Lula's other loaders are good too. Ive been using the older lever type for things like my M1A's, MP5, AR's and AK's since they first came out.

The one I use most today, along with the Up Lula, is their "Strip Lula" for the AR's. Works with or without a stripper clip and makes loading AR mags fast and easy.

Was a kid I always kept an empty key ring with my Ruger 22. I put the ring over the stud and pulled it down with the plastic advertisement so I could load them. My hands are now rough enough I can’t get near micro fiber towels or I snag all over them and loading isn’t a problem.

Double stack single feed isn’t near as easy as double stack double feed but I have seen people loading double feed mags like they do single feed mags and they always say “thank you” after I point out they can just push them straight down.

I do have a few though for specific magazines, what are you wanting one for?

I’ve been using the same Maglula since 2012 and since bought more for family and friends. $35 is cheap... I ve loaded at least 10K through my original...neverf failed to work.

I read in a review of the website that a customer received a cheap knockoff instead of the Maglula loader. Of course I did not read this until after I ordered one. Did you get the genuine article or a knockoff?
I was concerned after reading your post so I contacted Newegg they said they guarantee that their item is genuine. Apparently the real ones say made in Israel on the packaging the fake ones are made in China (imagine that!)

The Chinese dont/wont have a problem putting "Made in Israel" on the package, trust me. :)
Very good point but I've dealt with Newegg for many years having been an early computer buff back in the days when we build our own instead of buying it straight from Dell. Always found them to be a reputable company one would assume they would know whether the item came from the legitimate Source or from Bootleggers or at least I would hope so:(

I have one for Uzi/SMG mags, which are effectively impossible to load by hand, except by slapping the base of the mag each round. Its a decent time saver, but 1000x easier to load with. As above, lots of fraud. I would order from one of their official suppliers, or midway. I got mine from 9mmAR.com. I also have faith in Newegg, but I accept this is not a company sourced product, and most likely a 3rd party seller they're hosting, or at best, something brought in to test the market, neither of which guarantees legitimacy. Aside from the ethical issues, Chinese knockoffs can be very good, so if you get it, and it works, let us know. If it doesn't I'm sure you can return it.
