Hey everyone- anyone found or bought any new knives lately? I was thinking of getting a new SOG line knife but wanted feedback from others first. Let me know!
Again, which specific model(s)? Sog makes some pretty good flippers, and some rather bad flippers. What's your budget? Kershaw has some nice USA made manual flippers that are on ball bearings and use a strong detent, rather than an assisted opening torsion spring that can break. There are also quite a few knives with opening holes that you either open with a finger flick, or slowly open with your thumb. Do you have any blade length restrictions where you live? Do you want a deep carry pocket clip? Some other forums had SOG flip knives as suggestions so probably that style. Something I can toss in a bag or carry front pocket
So do you have any links or websites you buy off of?the terminus is highly thought of.
I like the lines of the flash AT, I just wish it was not assisted and didn't have a safety.
overall, it's a company that is improving, but not really my style/speed. I do like them better than cold steel.
