I've reloaded .30-30 for 30 years... it was the first bottleneck cartridge I ever loaded for... and I've never used H335. I first started with the slightly faster H322, then just moved to IMR3031. Not that H335 won't work, I just don't care for how it works.
I would start with seating to the cannelure and crimping... to see what kind of accuracy you get from that. As GeoDude suggests, maybe work with your rifle to find out how far out the rifling leade really is... it might be closer than you think, already... and there is always that feeding issue with pump/lever guns. I have a Savage 99 in .30-30, with the rotary magazine... crimp means nothing to me, but the OAL does... and it will give me fits if I am .0001" over book OAL.
