It is for counting pills , I think.The two blade knife is called a Doctor's Knife. The odd blade is called a spatula blade. Don't ask me what it is used for as I have no clue.

Amber bone is the best.Got this one as a gift around 07 or 08 if memory serves. Carried daily, and has skinned more deer, rabbit, and squirrel than I can recall along with all other knife related tasks I can think of. Im squarely in the Case Trapper camp!

IIRC this pattern is also known as a pill buster. The flat butt of the knife can be used to crush and grind pills and the spatula for counting pills or for working with the resultant powder or for stirring or compounding.
