Hello everyone. My name is Hamilton. This is my first post by the way I wish I wasn’t having to make it but I’m interested in what you guys have to say about this.. so you’ve heard time and time again that bolts don’t lock back on the last round being fired. Don’t confuse that with my problem please. My ar9 which is a foxtrot mike lower and upper that I bought separately thinking I was going to get a different lower - my first 9mm build so I decided to just get the lower to go with it. Anyway what happens is the last round in the magazine will still be there and the bolt will lock back. So whenever shooting a full mag all is well until it gets to the last round and then it locks back the bcg with one round still sitting in the magazine untouched. I have fiddled with the arm (not sure what it’s called) that dictates when the mag is in and when it’s not. When I have the lower unattached from the upper I wiggle the arm and it seems like there is not spring tension at all. Should the arm wiggle freely like that or should it have a tension like there is a spring underneath it? The only idea I have is that the spring somehow broke or dislodged and that is causing it to do this - I’m not about to take it apart and mess up things worse so I’m guessing I’m going to have to send it to foxtrot. I was just wondering if you guys have had any experience with this happening and if it’s an easy fix. Thank you for your replies.
