Well, I don't live nearby-but, you guessed right, that this M15-1 has not been shot yet.Very nice. I'd ask how it shoots, but it doesn't look like anyone would know . If you live nearby, I'll be happy to take it for a spin for you
Better to shoot it now than have a relative sell it for half price and some clown shoots it after you're long gone. That sure is pretty.
You're not going to shoot it though, are you?
The next guy that owns it will probably shoot it loose or worse he'll squeeze the trigger after a squib.Naw, it's too nice to shoot... With the box & papers and all.
For that you can get some cop's old beat-up trade-in.

Old Fuff:Possibly, but the probability is highly remote.
For some reason when anyone posts pictures of a like-new-in-box, with accessories gun some members jump in and DEMAND that he has an obligation to go out and shoot it. While these members may feel that way, the gun’s owner may not, and I don’t think it’s “high road” to bully him (or her as the case may be) on this business of shooting it. Frankly, this is decision for him to make and no one else’s unless he asks for advice on what too do, which so far on this thread he hasn’t.
I am well aware that many, if not most, members on this forum subscribe to the idea that what they own is darn well going to get well used and shot. I have no objection to this, and I have various firearms that have had plenty of rounds put through them. I also have a few that are put away and preserved. Which is which is a decision I make and is not subject to some oversight by others. Without hesitation I extend the same right to everyone.
I consider that it is fortunate that back in the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as during the first half of the 20th, some people decided to keep a few firearms unfired so that today we can see what they were like countless decades earlier when they were new. They often reflect workmanship and finishes that we are unlikely to ever see again. Somehow I don’t see why this kind of preservation should be considered to be reprehensible. :banghead:

Now, now - you wouldn't be telling the OP what to do with his own gun, would you?
