I also use Mobil 1. And for applications where grease is needed or when I want a coating that will remain where applied, I use Synco Super Lube. It is also a synthetic.

I just got a Crosman 1322 and the scope blocks and finally, an inexpensive red dot scope. It is a reasonably priced and accurate pistol.

If you have access to a range that rents pistols, try what they have to offer and see if they show that characteristic. With any luck they may have a 75 type pistol.
