I have recently inherited an older Wichester Model 54 30-06 hunting rifle. The problem is that I don't know how to take out the bolt. Can anyone help me?
I have a Winchester Model 54 (30-06) that belonged to my dad but he has since passed away. I have never fired it so I don't know how to take out the bolt. I want to make sure it is safe to fire so I need to take it down and clean it. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
