    S & W 2213

joneb: "I have a S&W 2214 4" that looks like yours and it has been flawless with good 22lr ammo". May I offer an opinion? I don't think the M-2214 was offered with a 4 inch barrel, I could be wrong. I think the other Models, 422, 622 & 2206 were offered with a 4" or a 6" barrel

    Public Service Announcement

As much as I hate it for S&W and it's shareholders they have shown that quantity instead of quality is their goal, indicating a complete disregard for their customers by putting out untested products and letting the buyers perform the quality inspection. Reading some of the stories from...

    Shorty 12 Gauge Ammunition

Hello again, been absent for a couple days and I see you guys have answered my question thoroughly. I was afraid there would be a feeding problem with them being shorter. I also thought they would be loaded down and be less powerful from what I read I must have been mistaken (the assume thing...

    Shorty 12 Gauge Ammunition

I am wanting to use the short shells so there will be less chance for damage beyond that intended, have an old M-11 Remington with the police riot barrel installed and happen to think about feeding difficulty or will it even feed after the first shot? Any experience will be very much appreciated.

    Asking For Your Help

Well folks my decision has been made, no .17HMR Taurus Tracker for me, asked on several forums and very few had good things to say about a Taurus. Not sure why I wanted the .17HMR caliber except I have a rifle chambered for it. Thanks for helping me make up my mind.

    Asking For Your Help

Taurus Tracker, is it a quality revolver? I've wanted to add a .17HMR revolver and Taurus seems to be the only participant available. I've never owned a Taurus and do not want to sacrifice quality just to have one. If you have experience please share your knowledge and thanks for your opinion.

    High Standard .22 Mag Derringer

Say what you will but they make perfect EAR guns, no they don't improve your hearing but they sure do make enough noise to do it harm. I prefer the .22 Magnum instead of the ,22 LR. Not my preference for self defense but will suffice if it's all you have!

    What was your favorite Shotgun

Here is my favorite: An Old Savage Model 430 Over/Under 16 Gauge, best bird gun I've ever shot. Wish I could find another 16 OR 20 Gauge. This gun had 26" barrels with Improved Cylinder & Modified Choked. The guns today do not seem to be up to par to these old inexpensive but very well made...

    cutts compensator

My deceased Bird Hunting Buddy had an old Model 11, 20 gauge that only had the attatching ring remaining on the barrel. Not sure if he bought it that way or had it occurr while he was shooting it. I thought it was suppose to look like that with only the ring left until he told me it wasn't...

    Ruger SP101 convertible in .22/.22WMR

If this isn't pertinent to the discussion just ignore it please. I searched for a M-648 S&W .22 Magnum revolver for a couple years and had no luck so, since I already had a M-617 S&W .22LR I ordered a Magnum Cylinder from Gun Parts Corp and had it fitted to my M-617, I now have a duel cylinder...

Is there a manufacturer making a Home Defense 410 Gauge Shotgun

My cousin who is a female and of advance age wants something for home protection and has had a 12 gauge Mossberg that was too heavy for her to handle comfortably. I believe a 410 is agequate for self protection inside a home but have not seen anything advertised for sale fitting this...

Smith & Wesson Customer Service - or Lack Threrof.

Just a note of caution, please do not opperate the action of your revolver with the side plate removed, the side plate supports the pins staked on the opposite side of the frame and may result in them to breaking loose and another trip back to repair a serious malfunction.

    Beretta Model 102 Semi-Auto .22LR

I have thought of another question if y'all will be graceous enough to furnish the answer. If the M-102 was the M-76 will the Walnut Grips and the Magazines for the M-76 interchange and function in either? Thanks for any information.
