The LGS had two guns in this configuration. I went back to check them out again and one gentleman had purchased both of them this morning. It's OK- you win some and you lose some.
Even as a Late Gen Xer (almost Millennial), I have far more interest in metal frame hammer guns of the 80's and 90's than the NPC polystrikers of today.
Depending on threat matrix and NPE levels, EDC can be anything from an NAA Mini to something in the Makarov/P239/2" K-frame size that fits in the front left pocket of pants I am wearing.
The only fly in the ointment with Ruger Mini-14 factory mags that I have discovered is that a modern 10 rounder fits too tight in my first production run series-180. The 5's and 20's are fine.
