It is essential to know if the LEM trigger has second strike capability. If it doesn't have it, it cannot be considered a DAO. H&Ks have various trigger configurations marked with the letter V followed by a number. I'm sure one of these (actually two) configurations is full DAO (excluding for...
Yes, I remember some S&W Gen3 pistols were available in the DAO configuration. Also the SIG-Sauer Pro 2340 and 2009 could be converted to a DAO trigger and I see one of them in a official SIG-Sauer catalogue back then. So were the Heckler & Koch P2000 and P30 (at least theoretically because I...
I think it's a Browning Challenger II or III (can't tell the difference between the two).
As for the firing pin, it could be that its channel is very dirty or there is oil/grease in the channel or the firing pin has a worn or blunt tip or the firing pin spring has lost its strength and needs to...
I have these three striker fired polymer pistols. The Walther P99 AS has a DA/SA action with a decocker only button. The Grand Power Q100 is a pure striker fired with no manual safety and no second strike capability. The Taurus G3 has a manual safety and second strike capability (sort of SA...

If you find hollow points that guarantee 100% reliability with this pistol and at the same time have an edge regarding accuracy and the correspondence between POA and POI then fine, otherwise I'd stick with ball ammo which are also cheaper than hollow points, I think.
With this Browning HP I'd stick with european 124gr FMJ-RN (Fiocchi, Geco, Sellier & Bellot, RWS, etc.) or others full power 124gr ball ammo made by Federal, Winchester, Remington, Magtech, etc.
I'll add a pic.
Square slide, extended safety and hold open, Bo-Mar sights, extended square dust cover with a full length picatinny rail, STI square hammer, thin long beaver tail. The front of the pistol is extended with a separate one piece block that goes from the muzzle to the dust cover...
