I ordered some of these last week. I'm sure they're good. I've always ordered my 9mm and 45 ACP FMJ bullets from them and have never been disappointed. They always have a good product and don't price gouge.
Yeah it's pretty rough right now to find components. I am of the mind that things will calm down as they have in the past. It will probably just take a while longer. Smart move keeping your supplies. In a year or so we will probably be able to score some good deals on some barely used...
Try an internet search. You will probably find them out of stock most places. Like everything else related to reloading right now. Just keep checking and pounce when you find them
I usually buy a pistol or something for myself at Christmas and tell my wife not to buy me anything. This year I refuse to pay the prices so will wait for things to calm down. when they do it'll be either a .22 pistol of some sort or possibly a .22 rifle. I did order some Dawson Precision...
I've used Apex parts on a few pistols and was always happy with the results. Good construction and great results. Didn't make the guns more accurate but allowed me to shoot them more accurately.
Tried and hated IWB holsters. If my G42 isn't in my pocket then my Shield or XDS rides in a Don Hume OT leather holster at 4:00 covered by a t shirt. I don't care that it prints from time to time. People are clueless and don't notice. If they did notice anything, they'd probably think it was...
thank you for all of the advice and ideas. I will most likely use my CZ. I want to get a chronograph as well. My reloads are a little hot, so I may want to experiment with them as well to see what the PF is and then adjust accordingly. Gonna start looking at holsters and mag pouches soon as...
Good point. My main interest is to get more practice and just to have more fun than shooting at paper bullseyes. I typically carry a Shield in 9mm in a Don Hume Leather OWB holster. I think I would have fun with that, but I am a lot more accurate with the CZ at any distance over 10 yards...
I've been thinking about doing something other than putting holes in paper targets. There's a club not far from me that has IDPA matches every month. I have just started reading about the rules and what is involved in the sport as it sounds like a lot of fun. I plan to attend a couple of...
It takes me about 10 minutes to clean a pistol when I come home from the range. Soak a patch in Hoppes and run it through the barrel a few times. Run it all over and in the slide as well as the frame using a new soaked patch as needed. Scrub gun in and out with an old toothbrush. Clean it...
Cool. MP5 would make sense since there was boatload of brass there. I grabbed a bunch to see if they would clean up to reload, but they don't get "pretty" enough for me. I have enough 9mm brass that I don't need to load them. Thanks for the info. I enjoy learning new things every day.
