I had a Walther PPS, but got rid of it because of all the issues with the backstrap coming off and disabeling the gun. You can read about it in the PPS Owners forum.
Putting a grip sleeve on didn't help much either, as the plastic pin on the backstrap that sticks into the trigger mechanism...
I traded in my Kahr PM9 for the Walther PPS for the very reasons as the other poster mentioned, far better accuracy, much better trigger and sights.
