We have it in stock, please wait 2 weeks for shipping

It can get more annoying. I spent almost $500 on an item. Showed stock. receipt said can take 2 - 5 days to ship. OK range. Two days later they sent an email telling me they did not have one and were canceling the order. Within minutes of completing the order with them a query I had made...

Does anyone make great pocket pistol?

Take a look at Boberg (http://www.bobergarms.com/). Small +9mm. Fits well in pocket. DAO, firing pin blocking, no other safeties. Accurate. Can have night sights. Comes in a pocket size (Shorty) and large. There will soon be a .45 version. You get 9mm or .45 in a package more he size expected...

    Reliable high capacity semi auto

The PPQ navy was one of the contenders.

    Reliable high capacity semi auto

I am not eliminating hammer operated. I will consider either. My bad about "hammerless". I know better, but I was thinking about hammers when I wrote that. If I could find a suitable holster the chances of debris could be minimized. And I am not sure it is really an issue. Just a head exercise...

    Reliable high capacity semi auto

My reasoning for hammerless: Less likely to get screwed up when out trimming trees and moving dirt. A bit of junk in between the hammer and firing pin could cause a FTF. And water entry. This will be for gardening and work around the property. Counter-arguments welcome.

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

There seems to be a tendency to equate 9mm revolver with a clip of some sort. Just a reminder, Charter Arms has the Pitbull in 9mm and .40. No clips.

    Reliable high capacity semi auto

Thanks, this is being useful to me. A CZ is on my "want to hold" list but I have not found one to hold. I have held several others and most are not very comfortable in my hand (high on my list of individual qualities). I should have mentioned; no Glock. I just don't like them. I have...

    Reliable high capacity semi auto

I want to get something for open carry around the property. Ah, you say, finally a new and original request. Sorry about this. But I have looked at a bunch of pistols. Some feel much better than others. Some I have not been able to actually hold (the two largest dealers in the area were out of...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

My wife an I "carry only one caliber". I have a semi-auto that she can not successfully operate the slide. She has a revolver. What is the problem here? A 9mm is a very reasonable defense round. Better that a 38. Can get into .357 general effective territory if you want the recoil and blast...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

There are people that have small relatively weak hands. Possibly hundreds when you take in the population of the country. They may be able use a revolver but not able to rack OR CLEAR an auto. The same small demographic, may also not be be good at controlling high recoil handguns. A 9mm gets...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

The notice from the post above reminded me of this thread. Has anyone else acquired a PitBull? Be interesting to see more impressions from users. Mine had some issues out of the box, but Charter Arms was quick to take it back and clean it up a bit. I am guessing I got a fairly early production...

Seattle Mayor and Anti-gun group call for "Gun Free Businesses" "

A couple of points. I believe that carrying into a business with a no guns sign is not an offense. If the owner/staff asks you to leave and you refuse it becomes trespass. There is no forfeiture involved. If you do it again in that business I believe the issue escalates if you have been...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

I have a 9mm Pitbull. I got it for my wife because she does not have the hand strength to operate an auto. It lets us share ammo (if there were any). It is noticeably less pleasant to fire than a Boberg Shorty. But it is not bad and reasonably quick to reacquire the target. Regular 9mm is a...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

My reasons for a Charter Arms 9mm Pitbull. My wife is unable to operate the slide on any semi-auto we have tried. No moon clips but a bit awkward to unload and load. Requires some practice. In reality my wife will probably not carry a reload. So the more reliable revolver wins. She would not...
