    Zumbo, Take 2

I received my December issue of Guns & Ammo this week. I read Metcalf's article and thought ***? The issue also came with a renewal notice, "This Is Your Last Issue!" How prophetic. When it comes to gun control, gun owners need to hang together or hang separately. Metcalf has chosen to hang...

Do you have any gun that shoots itself?

My S&W 1911 is awesome. Sometimes I feel like I can just point it in the general direction of the target and hit the bullseye.

Picked up a Ruger P85 in a family deal.

I bought a P85 in California when I was stationed in San Diego back in the 1980's. It came with 2 15 round magazines and I bought an 18 round magazine. It was a different time then. It's still one of my favorite guns.

    Popular gun-related sayings

From the days of flintlock firearms, where the main charge was intended to be fired by a small charge of gunpowder in the priming pan. If the resultant fire did not pass through the touch-hole and ignite the main charge, it produced noise and smoke, but no substantial effect, and was termed a...

    My Glock broke!

It dry fires fine. There must be enough of the pin in the gun to hold it together.

    My Glock broke!

I shot my Glock 32 yesterday and the trigger pin broke. Part of it is still in the gun and part of it fell out. The gun has about 1500 rounds through it. This photo shows the gun with part of the pin still in it and the part that fell out. This photo is a close-up of the broken...

    Traded my Glock 36 today...

... for this Winchester 94 Trapper 44 Magnum Saddle Ring Carbine, mfg in 1971. Even trade, the Glock 36 for the Winchester 94. It's got a few dings and scratches but the action is tight and the bore is sharp and shiny. But that ugly recoil pad has got to go.

What kind of Dog do you have?

My Greyhound "Wink". He's a retired racer. Quite useless for home defense. If someone breaks into my house, Wink will be the first to show the intruder to the refrigerator.

    AR-15 or AK47 - and why?

This is America, you can have both. Get both while this is still America, and while you still can.

    Your favorite rifle:

Norinco Type 56S AK-47. I bought it in California about 20 years ago before they went commie and banned them. It came with 3 30 round mags, sling, cleaning kit, and bayonet, has a chrome lined barrel, stainless bolt, gas piston, etc. all for about $350 NIB.
