I put a case feeder on my 550 and even run .223 in it. I couldn't be happier with mine. The only bad thing about the case feeder is that it doesn't run .380s
You are better off buying a new tumbler I replaced three motors in three months after mine burned up. I went through the same stuff you are going through with Dillon. I still have the tumbler if you want it. I bought a thumblers tumbler and will never buy another vibratory.
I'm with rcmodel, shoot the berry's and if you want to go light try using trail boss powder. I use it with my SASS loads and there is hardly any recoil. You will be the brunt of a lot of jokes about mouse fart loads but at least she can shoot comfortably for a while.
Brought home a Browning 1911-22 and I love it. It is one of the most fun guns to shoot that I have ever owned. It is accurate and functions flawlessly. I got it for snakes but I shoot grasshoppers and katydids and skunks and a ton of targets.
Ash, the history of that gun of yours has got to be one of the best bbq guns ever. No gun owner can deny that our interest is peaked when it comes to civil war or WWI or WWII guns. You have my envy with a piece of history in your hands.
If you have a 1911 of some sort, I would recommend you buy a conversion and shoot it. But of course I am partial to 1911 model guns. I have a Colt Ace and a Kimber rimfire and they are the most accurate .22s I have shot. I just bought the Browning 1911/22 yesterday and haven't fired it yet but...
My wife bought me a set of these revolvers for Christmas a few years ago and I love the things. I thought I would shoot cowboy action with them but stayed with my vaqueros. I shot two cylinders from each of them and never had a problem with the caps hanging up and they were very accurate at...
I am quite sure she kept asking those questions about conflicting groups so she could stir debates to be against the bill. Even if it passed, I personally would not open carry because I would become the target of the bad guys who intend to do harm.
I have had my 550 for a few years now and have put out thousands of rounds of ammo. I just bought the case feeder for it and haven't put it on yet. I have been told that it will speed up my output by 50%. I know it works well on my sl900. You have made a great purchase and you will enjoy it for...
Just a comment here, but why don't we see the men and women who put their lives on the line carrying a bentley or bmw. They seem to rely on the toyotas and even the fords and chevys to keep them out of harms way. It seems to boil down to reliabilty and how much you really want to fork over. And...
If everyone will notice, he didn't say he did it,,,,, I think he did exactly what his intentions were. He stirred the pot to see what would come to the top.
Being from Texas and born back when (in the 40's) I'd say these kids today haven't lived a very good life without hunting and shooting and fishing and all the good things we used to do to pass the time. My Dad ordered me a 7mm mauser from a catalogue and paid the big sum of $17 dollars for my...
I lucked out and got 2 of them from cabelas before they quit carrying them. They are both fairly accurate and seem to be very reliable. I have shot several hundreds of rounds through them and they are still new looking.
WOW, I didn't know reloading would be so political. After reading all these threads I'd say there were as many opinions as people. I'd also say that Freakshow should help the guy in Grandbury Tx. run his shop.(refer to general discusion, radical gun shop owner) His mindset makes me say "God...
