    Rifle Recommendation for Teen

I'm not too concerned about a "first" refined rifle. My son has doubts about hunting four-legged animals. He's somewhat hesitant when we go bird hunting (dove, quail.) But my wife's family owns a large hunting area in central Wisconsin and he'd like to take a stab at it next November. I may also...

    Rifle Recommendation for Teen

Hey everyone. Soliciting hunting rifle recommendations for my teenage son. Rifle will be intended for deer and hogs. My son is 15, about 5'5, 120 lbs. I expect he'll get quite a bit bigger. He's a tad recoil-sensitive, but nothing he can't overcome. I'm thinking of something in either a .270 or...

    That One Go-to .357

Hi everyone. I present a question to this highly knowledgeable community. And it is this: if you could have that one go-to .357 revolver, which one would it be? Now, in processing the answer to this question, allow me to add some context. What .357 would it be if you found yourself having to...

    Dan Wesson Model 715

Thanks guys! I have a bead on a 15-2 "pistol pack" from the mid-70's. Blue with 4 barrels. Advertised as "Monson Mass", whatever that means. Is this a quality model?

    Dan Wesson Model 715

Hello all. Few questions about the Dan Wesson 715 stainless: 1) is it still in production? 2) what's the overall quality? 3) how does the trigger compare to other better quality .357's (686, GP100, Python)? Any info would help. Thanks!

    What about Bersa?? 380 CC

I had the Bersa Firestorm years ago. Had to send it for repairs out of the box. It had an exposed spring and really didn't inspired confidence. Mediocre shooter and overly snappy for a .380. Got rid of it. It's just a cheap version of the Walther. Save up for the Walther....

    Korth 357 & 44Mag

I have to totally agree. I'm sure Korths are great, but some look like they're out of a Mad Max film. Those singles are beautiful. I'd also suggest to the OP that he consider a Manurhin; better looking than the Korths.

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

What's the big deal about "pre-lock"? Are the pre-lock 686's that much better than the current production? From what I read, people talk about the pre-lock version like it's some kind of grail. I saw a Jerry Miculek video where he described how he thinks today's S&W revolvers are better than the...

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

And not to change the subject from my OP....but is the Python that much better than the 686 to justify the price tag difference?

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

Okay, this is good info....thanks! And I think that's a concern for me. The firearm I get will likely see lots of use.

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

LOL....I'm actually torn here. I just don't know if the extra $600 is worth it for the Python. Plus, the Python is so pretty! I'd hate to beat it up with lots of use.

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

I didn't realize the weight difference! I guess I failed at my homework on this point. How could I, considering that weight is a HUGE factor.

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

As funny as this statement is, it's probably the exact reason why a Python is preferable.

    Python vs. King Cobra Target?

Good morning. I need a little guidance. I'm very close to "pulling the trigger":D on a new revolver purchase. I've narrowed my search to the Python and the King Cobra Target. But my difficulty is that I have to order one without the customary tried and true method of placing the firearm in my...

    Press recommendations??

Hi all. Long time off this forum. I'm looking for a recommendation for a new progressive press. My son and I are getting into some target shooting and I think it would be a great Father-Son endeavor. We'll be reloading mainly handgun caliber ammo, but I imagine a machine that can handle a rifle...
