Well buying in bulk helps a bit, reloading saves in the long run but the tools cost a lot to start from scratch. Buy one part at a time until you have enough to full on reload, I usually spend about $100 after each shooting trip. 303 brit, various 12 gauge loads, 9x18 mak, .45acp, 7.62x54r, 7mm...
Alright so after browsing the web awhile and seeing there were others having the exact same issue as I was with my Hawk 982 I found a fix. The problem was on the last shell it would sometimes get only half ejected from the tube and not get lifted. A little pull on it would get it to come out all...
That Higgins reminds me of mine I have :) Great gun, especially since the price of them is usually below $100. My go to home defense shotgun is a Browning Bps 10 gauge, I've had to make quite a few of the parts for it and I'll probably be making a thread for it shortly. It has a 20" barrel, +2...
I own the Stevens 320, got it at Big 5 on sale for $175+tax. So far it's a great gun, the fore end prevents putting on a side saddle but makes it much more comfortable for shorter shooters. I'm 5'4 so the extended fore end is major plus side, also the loading gate doesn't bite my thumb as bad as...
You know if their products weren't so expensive I'd get one of those stocks for my mosin. Spending 3x the cost of the rifle on a stock is ridiculous to me though
Gah I wish some shops locally sold the Nagant Revolver, I want one so bad! Out of curiosity does that shoot the 7.62 nagant or the other Swedish cartridge? Beautiful condition though, definitely worth a lot to the right collector
I've tried numrich and a google search only finding a thread asking for exactly what I need. I need a cartridge lifter for this bolt action shotgun so I can fully enjoy it again. If anybody has any links to one I'd greatly appreciate it
:neener:About the only good thing about working there is I can pick up my ammo with an additional 10% off, so after taxes I'm still paying less. If I really want to save I can do a 20 minute drive to Oregon and not even pay the tax
I have both these guns and while a J25 has the definite portability factor the Comanche has MUCH more power while offering just about the same number of shots(6 vs 7). My debate is whether I should deal with the snub nosed revolver and hope I get used to it or just continue using the little 25...
Yea after shopping around a while I did go back and clean them out. Got 13 mags and they threw in three boxes of ammo free. So far they loaded no problem and I have a buddy who modifies the mags so they're far more reliable while feeding. Only thing annoying about them is the mismatched paint...
I know this isn't the usual auto loader but I recently got an m11 and all I could find were the high capacity 30+ round mags, now that's all fine and dandy but if I could have a little help finding some fair priced 10-15 round mags I'd much appreciate it. Steel or zytel doesn't matter to me; as...
As the post says looking for cheap mags, these will just be range buddies so they don't need the highest reliability for every situation I could possibly encounter. I can get mil surp 30 round gi mags at a local gun store for $8 but I was wondering if anybody knows of anything cheaper?
