    Hard Chrome Vest Pocket Autoloader

Mr.Mosin Many years ago I had Ron Mahovsky hard chrome several guns, most notably a Beretta Model 20 and a Model 70 S. I don't have the Model 20 any more but I still have the Model 70 S. After some 40 plus years the gun still looks as good as the day I got it back from Metalife! If you're...

How Many Extra Magazines Per Handgun?

The minimum for me is 2 spares along with 1 in the gun. On average I would say I have 6 per gun.

    Conundrum (mixed feels)

As other's have already stated: if it were mine two things I would do: 1) run .44 Specials through it and 2) get a better feeling set of grips. A buddy of mine had a Ruger Super Blackhawk that he hated to shoot because of the pain it caused him every time he fired it. Then he found a set of...

Got out with the Mark 2 today

I can't remember a time when I didn't have a Ruger Mk. something in the collection. I do recall going to a gunshow many years ago, on the hunt for a .22 revolver or semi-auto geared more towards target shooting rather than just plinking. Came across a table which had both: a Ruger Single Six...

New to me…Browning MKIII hard Chrome / Target sights

whatnickname That's what I found on my Hi-Power Mk.II when I first got it. Even with the mag safety still in place, the trigger was clean and crisp at 5.4 lbs. Much better than a lot of older Hi-Powers that I had tried. Like the hard chrome finish too.

    Nashville Glock store- my experience

My Father told me that the way to be a successful salesman is for you to treat each and every customer exactly the same way you would want to be treated, if you were the customeer.

    Nashville Glock store- my experience

Charlie98 I was thinking the exact same thing: bad management that's being manifested with bad attitudes and or indifferent sales people Very true in which case you're not really a sales person; you're more of an order taker. Like asking the customer "Do you want any ammo to go with your...

    Nashville Glock store- my experience

The "Meet and Greet" is one of the most fundamental and important ways in helping the customer and making the sale. Sounds like these so called "Sales People" can't even be bothered to acknowledge you as customers. They're probably making minimum wage and don't get any sort of bonus or...

Going a bit bonkers for Berettas

ECVMatt I did the same thing with a Colt AR-15! Long before I had the rifle I had been stocking up on magazines, magazine pouches, ammo, cleaning gear; even a bayonet! So with a couple of empty holsters to fill that might be a sign that a Hi-Power is going to be something for to get in the...

    Ruger mk2 vs mk4?

I am quite pleased with my Mk. II with a great trigger right out of the box. Have looked at the Mk.IVs on a number of occasions and while I like the easy access design I think Ruger needs to do a better job with the trigger.

Do you like the 7.5" barrel?

I have had a couple of Ruger Super Blackhawks with 7.5" barrels but nowadays the only guns I have with a long barrel are an ASM Hartford Model Single Action Army, a Pieta Colt Model 1860, a Pieta Remington New Model Navy, a Pieta New Model Army, and a Colt Model 1860 Gen. 3. My other revolvers...

    Who scopes their .22s?

First time I had my new 10/22 out, I could see that it's accuracy potential called for a scope. Found a great deal on a Weaver K2.5 and it's still as accurate as all get out!
