I've always wondered why Beretta didn't make the two guns compatible in terms of magazines. I'd probably own both if I could swap mags.
I can only assume they wanted to just sell more magazines, but maybe there is an actual engineering reason.
I'm no suppressor expert, but I think I've heard that short barrel plus rifle cartridge doesn't work well with suppressors. Suppressors often have minimum barrel requirements to ensure that the powder fully burns before the bullet enters the suppressor.
Ever seen the fireball on a video of an...
I keep mine as a google doc.
Of course that means the NSA probably knows what guns I have. ;)
But I can access it from any computer (including my phone) that has the Internet. If my house burns down or my computer hard drive dies, I don't lose the information.
Plus you can have google drive...
I'm pretty sure this has been done by some folks in a few variations (though probably just one-off projects).

As with all rifle-caliber pistols, I would assume that it is extremely loud and...
I read another story today how the antis are sending victims family members in a "grass roots effort" to all the town hall meetings of "centrist" senators in an effort to sway and/or shame them into voting for UBC when it comes back up again.
I've also seen it on CNN (break room at work, not...
The list is pretty long. Also I would love to buy (or at least handle and evaluate) a few firearms that were hard to come by even before the panic.
For example, S&W Shield in 9mm and the KSG. I don't know when those two in particular will ever catch up with demand even after the panic...
I was at a gun show in the Salt Lake City area yesterday and there was a fair amount of ammo still there when I arrived in the afternoon (though no real supply of .22LR that I could see). The prices weren't at pre-panic levels, but they weren't horrific either.
I hope that the market is...
Interesting thread. I agree with Cosmoline, it might be hard to do anything with a "registry," but I'm still not sure what I would do. I'd need to think this over some more.
A similar question you could ask is whether you will be sharing any of your guns if this law (the version waiting to be...
I loved looking at that magazine! My neighbor would give me his old copies in the mid-to-late '90's, and this teenager would sit there and drool over every page! I do recall it being rather thick, but I would practically memorize the content.
Is anyone going to answer the actual question at hand?
I'll give it my best interpretation:
No, it is not a self-loading mechanism, and is therefore not semi-automatic. The round is not chambered before you pull the trigger.
+1 on this being great for getting 2nd amendment voters to turn out.
Even polls and articles that show 2nd amendment supporters to be in the minority (depending on the demographic/state, political climate when the question was asked, and definitely depending on the way the question was...
I don't agree. Right now we keep hearing that ammo manufacturers are running at 100%, but unwilling to expand capacity because they don't know if the demand will stay this strong.
I see two eventual outcomes:
1) The demand dies down and availability and prices stabilize.
2) The demand stays...
